   About The Author

Grab a cushion, cup of tea, a warm wool blanket, if you need,
if  poetry is what you seek, come and spend some time with me,
some buttons here with links to choose, my words of love and what i think,
'bout a thousand different things, things i think the world needs,
kids that read, fertile seeds, a million zillion poemtrees,
but most of all, what words are for, to give a gift,
the world i see, and here it is for you from me.

"I once knew a man's brain so small,
couldn't think a'nothin' at all,
not the same as you an' me, doesn't dig poetry,
why, he's so unhip, when you say Dylan,
he thinks you're talkin' 'bout Dylan Thomas,
who ever he was, the man ain't got no culture."
                                        Paul Simon
