Read your poem " Thank You Lord for Poets" on the Poetry Sharings

With your permission, I would like to include it in the March issue
of Poetry Sharings Journal. If yes, would you like your e-mail
address included for further comments from readers?
Best regards,

The Breeze, The Butterfly and Me
Comments:
Thanks Ron for the nice uplifting surprise in my email. This
poem is
very refreshing to me since my yard is filled with some snow and
nothing can be growing.
But not too long will I wait and the weather will warm up again.
Then time to plant
and wait for my flying visitors.
I think at times that my neighbors think I am half nuts to be always
running
with my camera or sitting in the grass and looking into the flowers
or hoping a butterfly
will soon come to that one blossom right in front of my face.
First you take notice of the
butterflies and then you see other insects of Mother Nature.
You watch to see
what the dragonflies are up to or the ladybugs, caterpillars or
lightening bugs.
There have been many, many times I have felt this way and you have
described it perfectly!
You are so sweet!
The Breeze, The Butterfly and Me
Comments: Ron,
This is so soft, sweet, and utterly lovely.
It brings to mind so many days of summer in my childhood when I
would do this very thing.
You've captured the moment perfectly. :)

My Tears, The Sea
Comments: Ron,
The sea is the perfect place to wash away the pain! The tranquility,
serenity
and beauty of the ocean has a natural calming effect on ones soul!
Beautifully written, Ron!!
TODAY IS POEM TREE DAY
Comments: Ron,
Your words are fun, clever and beautiful!
And, your mission...'Brilliant!'
I agree, adults and children should delight in a good book every
day!
One of my favorite times of the day is sharing a bedtime story
with my beautiful boys!
Well Done, Ron!!

My Tears, The Sea
Comments: Ron,
I'm left rather speechless by the depth and beauty of this piece.
It's raw, but oh, so compassionate at the same time. It pulls
at the soul.
I have a very deep love for the ocean, but this piece has made
me think of it in a whole new way. Thank you for that.

I like it - it's kind of mirror-ish and brassy, great wit in a
sweet way. Quite unusual.

Thank You, Lord, For Poets
Comments: Ron,
thank you. I think we poets all need each other to bounce our work
off of -
who better to appreciate or inspire than another poet, excepting
the good Lord and our family?

Ron,
I have a request. Could I place your poem on my
website? It is so pretty. I would provide a link to
your site.
I have another poem someone wrote from me and would
add it to that page.
Sue

Mr. R. Purtlebaugh,
Great poem Ron-thanks for the tribute to us poets. Sometimes, we
too often
forget ourselves when we try to enlighten the world about our observations.
You have done the world of Poetry a world of good.
